What could be cooler than adding HORSES to Vacation Bible School?!?!
This summer we’re headed west to “Wonder Junction,” where kids will discover the wonder of Jesus. They’ll marvel at the Creator of the universe who came to earth as a tiny baby and was laid in a feeding trough for animals, who grew up and began His ministry of healing people and demonstrating His power as God the Son, who gave His life in payment for sin, who conquered death, and who will return one day in power and glory.
They will be encouraged to embrace the salvation Jesus offers and challenged to live for His glory as we wait for his return!
As campers experience stories through music, drama, and storytelling, games, arts and crafts, science, and even snacks, they learn ways to connect with and trust God. Best of all, they understand that they can connect with God anywhere and at any time! Campers go on an exciting journey where they can learn to trust God no matter what situation life brings, know God is always with them, and feel confident in sharing the Good News of God’s love through Jesus.
In addition to the fun rotations mentioned above, Ranch VBS includes learning how to care for our horses while building character and work ethic in the barn by completing love list chores together. We will also spend time learning to groom, saddle, and ride a horse while applying skills they learned at Camp Firelight to some real-life scenarios.
In place of a snack break at traditional VBS, we enjoy a supper break on the Ranch. Please send your camper with a packed supper and a full water bottle. The dress attire for campers is t-shirts, jackets, jeans, and 1″ heel western boots (we have boots you can borrow, so bring socks).
***This camp is not an adaptive riding camp***
Complete one registration per rider. You must have attended a Ranch Tour & Intake before for this registration, and your Rider MUST be 8-12 years of age to be registered in our program
The fee for our 5-day horse camp is $260. Ideas to help encourage your rider to earn funding for horse camp are by doing jobs for others (yard work, garage cleaning, etc.), organizing a Pizza Ranch Tip Night to benefit the Ranch, a Facebook Fundraiser, GiveSendGo.com or GiveButter.com fundraiser, candy bar sales, bagging groceries for tips, etc. Grants are available upon request.
Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions or concerns!
