Mission Statement
HIS Haven Ranch exists to equip individuals for healing and renewed hope through Healing In the Savior.
Vision Statement
HIS Haven Ranch is a faith‑based, non‑profit ministry dedicated to walking alongside individuals ages 8 and up who are facing life’s challenges. We provide a supportive environment where hope can be restored and lives can be renewed.
Through our distinctive approach—pairing human coaches with the healing presence of horses—participants learn practical life lessons rooted in respect, responsibility, and teamwork. As they care for their horse, contribute to the Ranch, and develop riding skills, they gain confidence, character, and a deeper understanding of themselves and others.
Our commitment is to guide each person toward healing, growth, and the skills needed to become their best self.
Our Faith
HIS Haven Ranch is a faith-based organization. Though we are not affiliated with any specific denomination, we do hold tightly to the teachings of the Holy Bible. We believe that there is only one God, and that He is sovereign over all. His Son, Jesus, came to the earth as a man, lived a sinless life, and took the punishment that we all deserve by dying on the cross for our sins. We believe that Jesus did not stay dead but rose from the grave on the third day, and after walking and talking with his apostles for 40 days following His resurrection, He ascended back into heaven and is now sitting at the right hand of God the Father.
We believe that Jesus is the only way a person can get to heaven and that by believing in Him, asking for forgiveness for our sins, and committing our life to Him, we can be forgiven and live eternally with Him in heaven when our physical body dies. We believe in the Trinity - God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit - who are all parts of the ONE true God. We believe that the Holy Spirit has been sent to dwell in our hearts when we believe in Jesus and that He empowers us to live right, avoid sin, and gives us boldness to share the love of God with others.
We look for opportunities to share our faith with the participants and their families. We are sensitive to each person’s heart and do not push unwanted discussions onto anyone. When the opportunity arises, we thoughtfully share our faith. It is one of our highest honors to serve children and families of all backgrounds, regardless of religious beliefs.
Our Anti-Discrimination Policy
It is HIS Haven Ranch's mission to serve both youth, adults, and their families. Within those parameters, it is both our mission and our practice to tolerate no discrimination in serving these families because of their race, color, religion (creed), age, national origin (ancestry), disability, sexual orientation, or military status.
