Horse-powered math follows the Horse-Powered reading program, but with numbers!
Horse-powered Math integrates social-emotional learning with academics, thus allowing students to see and experience reading with their entire mind, body, and emotions by creating metaphors for the skills involved in Math.
The goal of Horse-Powered Math is to provide math activities grounded in experiential, real-time learning. We believe in each student’s ability to succeed and hope these activities will help students realize their potential while working through the various learning barriers.
These are 1-on-1 sessions where your rider interacts with horses from the ground, while using toys and props to identify obstacles and achieve proficiency in their critical math stage based on their age.
The five meeting times are the same time each day for your rider – Jun 22nd, 23rd, 24th, & 25th
